On the other hand, we have the AI-phobia. As AI becomes more pervasive, scientists/researchers who dedicated their lives to specific domains may feel threatened when new models or algorithms render their area of research obsolete. This can lead to polarization and attempts to undermine groundbreaking discoveries.

About the Author
My name is Nikos Kafritsas and I am a data scientist with over 8 years of experience. I hold a BSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering and an MSc in Data Science. I have worked for 3 leading tech companies, using data to drive business decisions and solve complex problems.
In 2021, I started writing on Medium, mostly publishing data science tutorials, tips, and guides. One year later, my articles became the most-read articles in their category.
During that time, my audience helped me see the value of explaining scientific breakthroughs in detail vs superficially — adding extra details when explaining complex concepts can really make a difference.
